Devotion of the Peerlessly Great Man on the field guidance

There are many people who retain their names in history. However, we never find in the long human history such a benevolent leader of the people as the great leader Comrade Kim Jong Il who made devoted efforts for the country and the people until the last moment of his life.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said as follows.

"The glorious and ennobling life of the great General Kim Jong Il was that of a great revolutionary who, upholding the red flag of the revolution, blazed a trail with his iron will and super-human energy, and that of a peerless patriot who devoted his all to his country and his people."

Every day since the great leader Comrade Kim Jong Il passed away, our people recollect the benevolent image of the great General who continued his field guidance journey for the prosperity of the country and well-being of the people.

Throughout his revolutionary career, the great General visited more than 14, 290 units and travelled over 1, 674, 610 ri, the equivalent of almost 17 times of travel round the earth.

The great General who was born in Mt. Paektu underwent all hardships since his childhood and followed the road of revolution throughout his life without a moment's rest.

Saying that human life should be the one devoted to the country and people, and that both the beginning and the end of human life should be beautiful, the great General dedicated his whole life to the country and his people and ended his life on the road for the country and the people.

He was on his field guidance journey even on his birthdays.

Though he was suffering from illness and mental and physical fatigue in the last days of his great revolutionary career, the great General endured all hardships with an unyielding will, and was on an endless journey of on-site guidance to build a thriving socialist country and improve the living standards of the people.

In order to glorify the year Juche 101 (2012), the centenary of the birth of President Kim Il Sung, as that of noteworthy victory in the history of socialist construction, the great General visited nearly 1 000 units in the last three years of his life.

With such an ardent love for people, he continued the super-intense on-site guidance journey and made immortal exploits of building the political, military and economic foundations for the everlasting prosperity of the nation.

The great leader Comrade Kim Jong Il is, indeed, a great revolutionary, peerless patriot and eternal leader of our people, who devoted his whole life to defending and glorifying the socialist country and people.
