Cosmetics should vary in usage and methods depending on wearers' gender, age, job, living environment and physical features.

Looking round the cosmetics shop, washing soap shop, sample room and other places to learn in detail about the production and management activities, he stressed the need for the factory to strive to produce more cosmetics that can improve the health of women and other working people as well as make their life more beautiful and civilized.
Emphasizing the need to classify the cosmetics clearly, he set the standard for it with a variety of detailed examples. He noted that since the preferences and requirements for cosmetics vary from person to person, creams, perfume, beauty wash, lipsticks, hair oil, cosmetics soaps and other cosmetics should be made to be functional and effective in different ways while natural, low-stimulus and functional cosmetics must be targeted in production.
The quality of cosmetics should be steadily improved so that our people prefer our "Unhasu" cosmetics to foreign products and furthermore Unhasu cosmetics can stand out in world market places-This is what he emphasized over and over.
After the visit, he promised to help the factory to be transformed into a modern one that can boast itself to the whole world. He gave a detailed guidance on the factory mark and trademark design as well as renovation plan, taking measures for construction workforce, research and development team and building material supplies. He also had the world-famous cosmetic samples sent to the factory in order to broaden the horizon of the factory staff.
In order to put into reality the noble intention of the General Secretary, officials, employees, builders, scientists and technicians of the factory and relevant sectors were able to complete the rebuilding of modern and large-capacity production base with a total floor space of over 29 200 square meters.
In late October Juche 106(2017), on his second visit to the newly renovated Pyongyang Cosmetics Factory he was greatly pleased to see a wide variety of high quality cosmetics kept in finely shaped containers and casing.
Immensely proud that the women' dream to become more beautiful could come true he was looking forward to our women rejoicing over the world-class cosmetics mass-produced at this modern, scientific and industrialized factory.
He noted that that cosmetics is one of the important consumer goods essential for the daily-growing cultural life of our people, setting forth important tasks to develop the cosmetics industry including increased production of a wider range of cosmetics which suite the tastes and preferences of our people and compete in the world market of cosmetics.
Expressing high expectation and belief that the officials and employees of the factory would make continuous innovations and progress in the struggle to provide the people with quality cosmetics, he posed for photograph with them.
