He made a grand plan to build the modern energy saving street, green street in the area of Kumsusan Palace of the Sun, the sacred temple of Juche with our own strength, technology and material and proclaimed the construction of Ryomyong Street on the spot on March 17th, Juche 105(2016) though being very busy in heading 70 day battle day and night.
That time, the hysterics of the hostile forces to wreck our happiness, impair our dignity and block our advance reached the extreme point and all the people of the world were worrying about the destiny of our republic. His proclamation of the construction of Ryomyong Street was the great determination made only by the respected Comrade
He guided the details of construction from the design of the living houses and public buildings to the composition of the power network and the afforestation and taught all the problems arising in the construction including the organization of the building forces and the supply of raw material and took all the necessary measures.
He inspected many miniatures of Ryomyong Street even at deep night and early dawn and gave the detailed teachings on the formation of the street.
