A Clear Manifestation Of The Noble Trust In The Young People Of The Workers' Party Of Korea

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un is the great father of the Korean youth who is creating the new history of giving priority to youth with firm belief that the bettering of leadership on youth will hasten the prosperity of our country.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said:

"That they have been fully prepared as the reliable vanguard and giants of creation who defend the prestige of the Party and go through fire and water in response to its call, is a clear demonstration of the validity and vitality of our Party's idea and line of prioritizing young people."

Today the Korean youth again enjoyed the great trust and expectation of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

At the historic Sixth Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) Kim Jong Un unrolled a grand plan for building 10 000 flats in the second-stage Hwasong area and another street in the Sopho area. He entrusted the worthwhile and honorable duty to the young people to the whole and personally attended the commencement ceremony on February 25.

He made a meaningful speech picturing the appearance of Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK, which would be changed splendidly by the reliable young people, as well as recalling the unforgettable moment of celebrating, with the youth, the completion of the power station built on the foot of Mt. Paektu in the period before the 70th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.

In his speech, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un expressed belief that if the spirit of the Paektusan hero youth created in the sacred Paektu area is further developed, it will be possible to carry out any gigantic work without delay. He clarified the determination of the WPK to open a new arena, a grand youth platform for fully displaying the patriotic enthusiasm of the young people in the overall development of socialist construction.

He expressed belief that the proud Socialist Patriotic Youth League and Paektusan Hero Youth Shock Brigade would successfully build a new street in the capital city in response to the call of the times and the people's expectations with heroic struggle, and ardently called for waging a courageous struggle for the worthwhile honor of the Korean youth and for the eternal prosperity of the state and the capital city of Pyongyang.

The historic event of that day, whereby the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un attended the ground-breaking ceremony, entrusted youth with the whole street construction and encouraged the young people with his stirring speech, is a clear manifestation of the absolute trust of the Workers' Party of Korea in the young people.

Young people are found in every country and all the state and political parties show concern in the youth issue in their own way.

However, in many countries, young people are considered as the main factor causing serious social concern and moral degeneration, and the youth problem is generally seen as a social problem that cannot be solved.

Despite the fact that youth issue is seriously raised worldwide and, moreover, that the unprecedented trials and difficulties that hinder the development of the state keep mounting on, it is only the DPRK that could entrust their young people the great construction campaign symbolic of national power and civilization and only the Korean youth who respond to the Party's call with all their hearts.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, who personally came to the windy ceremony site, encouraged the young people and showed deep loving care and trust for them, paying concern to their health, is the benevolent father of the Korean youth.

The present reality, which the world is admiring and envious, is a fruition of the leadership of the WPK which has trained the young people more firmly as successors to the revolution, reserves of the Party and pillars of socialist construction with absolute trust in the heroism and patriotic devotion peculiar to the Korean youth.

In retrospect, the Korean youth have always been a powerful force of state development in the historic course of the Korean revolution pioneered in Mt. Paektu. Under the trust and loving care of the Workers' Party of Korea, the young people fulfilled their honourable mission as the vanguard and shock brigade in socialist construction and brought about the eras of prosperity.

In the new century of Juche, the Korean youth performed world-startling miracles and feats one after another at major sites of socialist construction such as the construction of the Paektusan Hero Youth Power Station and the stockbreeding base in the Sepho area under the deep trust of the Workers' Party of Korea.

"We can hold the earth in the trust of the fatherly Marshal!", "We will go through water and fire, in response to the call of the Party!", this is the very patriotic cry of the young Korean people who turned out in the building of a thriving nation.

That's why the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said in his historic speech that the young people who have devoted their all to the implementation of the Party's plan, regarding loyalty to the Party and the revolution as their greatest honour and pride, should become the backbone in the ongoing grand socialist construction struggle as they have built up a firm faith in defending the cause of Juche with ardent youthful vigour and ardent patriotism.

The Korean youth are now filled with a firm determination to build the people's ideal street in Pyongyang, the heart of Juche Korea, by carrying forward the proud history and tradition of the Korean youth who have responded with ardent hearts to the call of the Party, and to make a successful report to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

Another ideal street for the people will be built in the Sopho area of the DPRK in a short span of time as long as there is the great trust of the Workers' Party of Korea and the heroic struggle of the Korean youth to repay the trust of the Party with loyalty.
