The Success Achieved in the Development of Nano- Sulfur Product

For the time being nano-sulfur is manufactured in the General Chemistry Department at Pyongyang Medical College and the Physical Chemistry Department, Chemistry Faculty of Kim Il Sung University. We are carrying out the study for using this material in the fields of medicine(nano-sulfur ointment, nano-sulfur injection, nano-sulfur bath, etc) and cosmetics(nano-sulfur soap, nano-sulfur cream, nano-sulfur shampoo, etc). Our research group is making a great progress in colonizing the home-markets and pioneering the world-markets, on the basis of high level of knowledge and valuable experiences of the group members.

The clinical examination for curing the psoriasis, intractable skin disease by using the nano-sulfur ointment is on its last stage. The result manifests the clear effect of its treatment and good consequences. Nano-sulfur is manufactured by using poly sulfide and its safety is guaranteed by attaching it to clay. And then the ointment that has Vaseline as the fundamental substance by using nano-sulfur clay complex is manufactured. The size of nano-sulfur in this complex is 30nm.

In addition, the study for manufacturing nano-sulfur cream and injections has been put into the stage of establishing the optimum conditions through the radical experiment.

Our department hopes to make a better progress in improving quality of the goods and accelerating our research through any kinds of possible cooperation, especially in the fields of analysis and extensive production.

We are going to enlarge its application parts of using this material by developing the nano-sulfur complex(nanosulfur-iodine complex, nanosulfur-zinc oxide complex, etc) that has nano-sulfur as the ingredient.
