The respected Comrade
"Cherishing ardent patriotism, the women have performed brilliant feats in developing and successfully advancing socialism and building a powerful socialist country."
On the occasion of the promulgating anniversary of the Law on Sex Equality, I recall the benevolent image of the respected General Secretary who visited the Pyongyang Condiments Factory several years ago and highly appreciated even the small successes of our women.
It was one day in June, 2013 that the respected General Secretary visited the Pyongyang Condiments Factory after the modernization project.
On his arrival, the respected General Secretary saw the monument to the field guidance of President
The production buildings and cultural and welfare facilities seated harmoniously, wide roads between them, lawns of new kind of turf, thickly wooded trees of good kinds and the fragrant roses...
Looking round the compound of the factory, the respected General Secretary said that the buildings were really clean and beautiful and they looked like a man in a fine suit, with a bright smile on his face.
After a while, he looked round not only the production process but also the cultural and welfare facilities for a long time and praised them high for the wonderful factory. He asked them who the factory was rebuilt by in an attentive way.
When he heard that the employees had rebuilt the factory themselves, again the respected General Secretary gave a bright smile on his face.
Then an official of the factory began to tell the respected General Secretary about the various things that had happened to them in the days when the fragile women, who could only produce condiments, were rebuilding the factory on their own.
She told him that at first, they were even afraid to put their feet on the rocking scaffolding, but in the end, they had become so skillful that they could plaster the walls and put the tiles on their own like the skilled construction workers.
Listening to the official's proud story, the respected General Secretary praised the officials and employees of the Pyongyang Condiments Factory for having made painstaking efforts to renovate the factory by their own efforts. He went on to say that the employees were great women who had made strenuous efforts with a firm determination to build their own work places by themselves.
Great women…
Thanks to benevolent care of the respected General Secretary, our women have become the innovators at work, good mothers, tender-hearted wives and good daughters-in-law at home, thus adding beautiful fragrance to the grand flower garden of socialism like the flowers in full bloom.
