The song "Masters of This Land Say" has been sung for many years since it was first made as it reflects Korean people's thoughts and feelings.
The song is sung by all our people from young children to elderly people everywhere.
It is a song that makes everyone feel proud of living in Korean-style socialist system centered on the popular masses, so they love it.
There is a story on this song that conveys the greatest man's patriotic idea.
It was one day in June, Juche101(2012).
That day, the respected General Secretary told the officials that the Moranbong Band had to re-arrange and re-portray the songs made before, adding that the song "Masters of This Land Say" was good and it contained why our People's Army, workers, farmers and scientists defended our socialism.
The officials were surprised.
10 years have passed since the song was produced.
When the song was first produced, they had sung, and many our people had enjoyed it.
But with the passage of years and years, and many new songs, they had forgotten this song.
But today the respected General Secretary recollected the song, which had been written more than ten years ago, with deep emotion.
Recalling some parts of fourth stanza that sang the feelings of our scientists, the respected General Secretary said he was very pleased with the stanza.
Looking round the officials, the respected General Secretary said that it was very good that our scientists were more firmly defending our socialism, which was the best in the world, with firm faith in socialism.
The officials recalled the words of the fourth stanza which was highly appreciated by the respected General Secretary in their mind.
The officials heard of voices for the patriotic faith of our scientists that even if there was no border in science work but they had a socialist motherland.
The cry of the faith was the philosophy that they had been firmly consolidated in their concrete real life.
It is our scientists that keep in their minds that they cannot live even a moment apart from the benevolent care of the great leaders who inscribed a brush with a hammer and sickle on the emblem of our Party for the first time in history and take warm care of all the scientists and lead them in a responsible manner.
The scientists took an oath full of patriotism to add glory to their superior socialist country, which touched the official's heartstrings.
Looking at the officials who were thinking of this, the respected General Secretary warmly said that patriotism was not a superficial concept as the words of the song "Masters of This Land Say", and to value and love a tree, a blade of grass and a gravel stone in this country is just the patriotism and he said that the patriotism should never be remained a slogan.
It was really meaningful.
Looking up to the respected General Secretary who fully understood the essence and content of socialistic patriotism through a popular song and put the position of the song on the highest level, the officials admired again.
"Masters of This Land Say" that the respected General Secretary kindle the flame of patriotism in the million hearts with a song is a song we have to sing for national defending until not only today and tomorrow, but also the day of final victory when the revolutionary cause of Juche is completed.
