February the 19th is a significant day when the program of modeling the whole society on Kimilsungism was proclaimed.
This historic event, engraved in the history as the declaration of February, is inspiring the entire Korean people with boundless pride and dignity of venerating a peerless great man in high esteem and is further imbuing them with faith in sure victory of socialism.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said as follows.
"He formulated Kim Il Sung's revolutionary ideas as Kimilsungism and presented modelling the whole society on Kimilsungism as the highest programme of our Party and revolution. In this way he brought about a revolutionary change in accomplishing the Juche revolutionary cause."
In the early 1970s, the Juche idea was being publicly recognized on a worldwide scale as the universal trend reflecting the aspirations and demands of the progressive mankind.
Feeling keenly this breath of the times, Chairman Kim Jong Il took it upon himself to formulate the revolutionary idea of President Kim Il Sung as his lifelong tasks.
The angling site in Mupho conveys an impressive story about his great contemplation and practice in those unforgettable times of 47 years before.
It was one day in September, Juche 60 (1971).
Chairman Kim Jong Il, who visited Mupho printed with sacred traces of President Kim Il Sung during the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle, cast his fishing rod, sitting on a rock below the Barrage No.7.
Although a char was lured in the rippling waves, he was deep in his contemplation.
Kimilsungism, the integrated system of theory and method on revolution and construction with the Juche idea as its essence, should serve all the party members and people who are accepting it as the torch of truth and the textbook in their life and struggle.
Going on with his contemplation, he had a meaningful talk with an official.
Chairman Kim Jong Il said quite satisfactorily that as he contemplated casting the fishing rod into the River Tuman imprinted with sacred traces of President Kim Il Sung and permeated with hot blood of anti-Japanese revolutionary predecessors, he had come to have a good idea of something that was uncertain in formulating the revolutionary idea of President Kim Il Sung.
Then, he said the revolutionary idea of the President is of matchless scope and depth beyond any classics and his revolutionary history is an immortal heroic epic to be kept in mind forever by the whole mankind, and repeated "Kimilsungism!" several times.
Like the eternal flow of the River Tuman, Kimilsungism a great revolutionary idea that will shine brilliantly forever in the future society as well as the only guiding ideology of our revolution that represents our present era.…
Not only at present but also in the future society.
The great general, deeply convinced of the eternal viability of Kimilsungism, looked so solemn and brilliant.
It was not long before the program of modeling the whole society on Kimilsungism was proclaimed.
On February 19th, Juche 63(1974), Chairman Kim Jong Il came out to the conference hall of the 3rd Conference of Ideological Workers of the WPK.
He cast a glance over the conference hall boiling like the sea at sunrise and set forth the idea of modeling the whole society on Kimilsungism. His teachings, illuminating on a full scale the idea of modeling the whole society on Kimilsungism, were full of profound truth and classic formulation. His voice raising boundless respect and worship resounded with vigor.

It was obviously the eruption of lava that had been boiling deep in the center of the earth.
It was a great discovery and a great event.
His historic conclusion, clearly illuminating the essence, content, justness and vitality of the great idea and the program with a profound and irrefutable logic and clear and meaningful words, grasped the hearts of all participants.
Thinking about the world of his boundless contemplation and whole energy devoted for this historic cause, their hearts were warmly inflamed.
He clearly illuminated the greatness and originality of the President's revolutionary idea, the limitation of the period and shortcomings of the preceding ideological theories by deeply studying the immortal classical works of the President and scientifically analyzing and reviewing the 100-year history of the working class ideology.
The great general, who prepared a banner of struggle to be held aloft by the Korean people and the progressive mankind of the world by formulating the President's revolutionary idea as Kimilsungism although he was very busy assisting the President's revolutionary activities and taking care of major state affairs in the Party Central Committee, was truly the great master of ideology and theory and a peerless great personnel.
Indeed, proclamation of modeling the whole society on Kimilsungism was a historic event by which our people were honored with all victories and glory led by the great Party.
Under the banner of modeling the whole society on Kimilsungism, the people, the society and the nature have altogether changed in Korea. A countless number of people have grown up into those strong in ideas and faith, a firm foundation of self-supporting economy was laid and the self-defense capabilities were so strengthened that no formidable enemy would dare attack.
The significance of the event 47 years before is being further enlarged now that modeling the whole society on Kimilsungism has been intensified and developed onto a higher stage and, so, a new history of great prosperity is being created under the leadership of the respected General Secretary.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un took measures to adopt "the Rules of the Workers' Party of Korea" which regulates that the WPK holds fast to modeling the whole society on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism as the highest program of the Party with the great Kimilsungism-Kimgjongilism as the only guiding ideology in the 4th Conference of the WPK.
In the 8th Conference of Ideological Workers of the WPK, held on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of proclaiming the program of modeling the whole society on Kimilsungism, the respected marshal said that the 3rd Conference of Ideological Workers of the WPK held 40 years before, in which Chairman Kim Jong Il proclaimed modeling the whole society on Kimilsungism as the highest program of the Party, has an extraordinarily great significance in the history of the WPK that has made a turning-point of revolution by dint of ideology, and declared as follows;
Today, the mankind is seeking their way out in the great Kimilsungis-Kimjongilism. The ideology centered on the popular masses, the revolutionary doctrine of independence, is fluttering everywhere across the world as the soul and the banner of struggle for the people aspiring for genuine freedom and happiness.
Boundless is the glory of our people and service personnel who have been conducting revolution for decades in the home country of the guiding ideology of the era of independence looked up to by the whole world, following the road illuminated by that great idea.
It is the faith and will of our people and service personnel and the demand of the times and the history to hasten the final victory of the Korean revolution invariably under the banner of the great Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism.…
Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism!
As this great idea is fluttering as the banner of struggle, Korea could engrave a brilliant history of the cause of building up the socialist thriving nation, glorifying every day and month of the new Juche 100s with miraculous victories.
With great pride and dignity of venerating the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who's demonstrating the invincible power of the great Kimilsungist-Kimjongilist party across the world in high esteem again, the entire Korean people have turned out on the grand march towards the overall development of the socialist cause.
The great Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism is brightly illuminating the way ahead of the entire people and service personnel who are vigorously advancing towards the new victory of the Korean-style socialism along the road unfolded by the 8th Congress of the WPK, firmly rallied around the respected marshal.
The Korean people will win only victories, invariably continuing the glorious course, on which they have been struggling dynamically with the cause of modeling the whole society on Kimilsungism as the Party's highest program under the leadership of Chairman Kim Jong Il, into a new struggle to accomplish the cause of modeling the whole society on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism under the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
