Today the heroes, labour innovators, scientists, technicians and officials loved by the people were all members of the KCU of yesterday.
That is why our country regards the work for the younger generation as the most important state affair.

One day in May 2013, while giving detailed instructions on renovating the Songdowon International Children's Camp, the respected General Secretary asked the accompanying officials if there was a playground in the camp.
When an official of the camp pointed at the playground, he asked how the campers would do exercise on rainy days.
The respected General Secretary was told that the campers would gather at the hall and conduct indoor activities on rainy days, thought for a moment and said to the officials that indoor gymnasiums should be built.
When he walked to a place on the sandy beach, the respected General Secretary pondered for a while looking at the beach with white sand and the swimming pool standing beside it.
After a while, he stressed the need to remove the swimming pool and said that a shower and changing room should be built on the site.
All the officials were bewildered by the unexpected words.
They wondered if the swimming pool was removed, where the children would swim when the sea was rough.
Looking at the officials, the respected General Secretary, said that the swimming pool should be built in a high level around the playground and that the gymnasium should be built next to the new swimming pool.
The officials could not help admiring and being moved.
How ardent the love of the benevolent fatherly leader who is working heart and soul to provide our children with the best conditions for camping is.
So the Songdowon International Children's Camp was equipped with the new gymnasium and swimming pool for campers to conduct indoors activities.
In April 2014, the respected General Secretary visited the Songdowon International Children's Camp nearing its completion and looked round everywhere of the camp and gave detailed instructions on some shortcomings.
On May 2nd, 2014, the respected General Secretary was so pleased with the fact that our children would lead a happy camping days at the most wonderful camp that he watched the fireworks display after the finals of the National Children's Football Games and the congratulatory performance of Moranbong Band(at that time) with schoolchildren.
Indeed, the Songdowon International Children's Camp will shine forever as the cradle of happiness of the children without an equal in the world thanks to the love of the respected Comrade
