The Affectionate "Order"

In general, the word "order" is used in the military sector, which refers to the task assigned to the subordinate units and soldiers by the commander in connection with military affairs. Moreover, the Supreme Commander's order is considered as an important military task related to the general command over the military forces and to strengthening the defense capabilities of the country.

But there are many anecdotes about the "order" unknown to the world in the history of the army leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said:

"We should spare nothing for the good of our children, the masters who will shoulder the future of the country."

It was one day in February Juche103(2014).

The officials, doctors and nurses of a hospital in the Korean People's Army were given a meaningful order by the Supreme Commander Comrade Kim Jong Un.

It was the order to cure the unhealthy orphans from the orphanage and baby home in South Phyongan Province.

Not only was this the first time since the hospital opened as a military hospital, but also the first time in the history of Korean People's army that the children from the baby homes and orphanages were taken care of in the army hospital. Such a moving event has never been recorded in the army history of any country in the world.

Upon the order of the respected Supreme Commander, the whole hospital, deeply affected by his noble outlook on the younger generations and love for the future, was busy with the preparation work. A powerful team was formed with a large number of medical officers and nurses, and surgeries and wards were arranged to treat children.

And then the medical officers and nurses went to the baby home and orphanage in South Phyongan Province to bring them. They hugged the orphans who were so bewildered, saying "Come on. The respected father Marshal Kim Jong Un is calling you."

The teachers of the orphanage and the baby home were also surprised at the emotional sight before their eyes, seeing them off.

Then how did such an impressive thing happen?

On February 3, Juche 103(2014), the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the baby home and orphanage in Pyongyang.

That day having looked round the amusement rooms, the baby rooms and kitchens one by one, he was very pleased to see all the children being healthy and strong. And affectionately saying that the children were kings in our country, he went on to say that he would make sure they could be fed 300 grams of fish every day, and they should be fed not only meat and fish but also the nutritious dried persimmons regularly, adding that he would issue an order to the units of the KPA stationed in the places where persimmons were widely cultivated to provide the children with dried persimmons.

While giving field guidance to the baby home and the orphanage in Pyongyang that day, he was thinking about all the orphans across the country.

After the field guidance he inquired into the actual situation of the baby homes and orphanages all over the land. And when he got the information about the children with bad health conditions in the baby homes and orphanages in South Phyongan Province, he took benevolent measures to admit them to the Taesongsan General Hospital. This is how it happened.

In the course of time, having received a report from the hospital that the orphans had been completely recovered, he visited the hospital on May 18th, Juche 103(2014).

Entering the hospital with a bright smile on his face, he said that he had been very pleased to hear that the orphans had been fully recovered. And he went the rounds of the wards with great delight just like he visited his own loving children.

When he, being guided by officials, first dropped in the intensive care unit of dermatology, the children came up to him shouting "Father Marshal!". Embracing them in his arms, he kissed the children on their chubby cheeks and said with satisfaction that the children had good complexion and they were all taken good care of. In the meantime, the children were vying to be in his bosom and singing songs about father Marshal with tears in their eyes. The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un embraced the children and dried their eyes with his handkerchief, advising the nurses and nursery school teachers not to teach the children such songs, but songs befitting to children's innocence.

The children who were receiving such warm and great love which cannot be compared with their parents' could not express their feeling enough even with thousands of songs about the father Marshal.

When he dropped in at another intensive care unit, the children were also singing at the top of their voice the song "We Are the Happiest in the World" together with nurses and nursery school teachers.

Listening in deep emotion to the song resounding in chorus with sincerity, he said:

"All the orphans are full of vigour as they are singing the song We Are the Happiest in the World in a clear voice. We should make them enjoy only happiness, so that this song resounds throughout the country. At the sight of them calling me ‘father' and vying to be in my embrace, I could not hold tears welling up in my eyes."

And after a while, he said in a choked voice that they were all sons and daughters of the Workers' Party of Korea and earnestly asked the officials to take good care of them so that they could not feel the sorrow of orphans. And then he gave detailed instructions on how to organize the children's daily activities in enjoyable and emotional way suited to children's minds, including the problem that orphans should be ensured to see many videos and cartoons.

This was not the only thing. Impressive loving stories continued to unfold in every ward he visited.

He taught nurses and medical officers how to hold babies in their arms and let them know the proper room temperature for the children. Looking carefully at the weight record of the children, he was pleased with the fact that their physical conditions had reached normal state for their ages. And he asked them not to feel easy and take better care of the children though they got much better. Like this he took a good long time to devote his parental affection on them.

That day, he also cared about the pains taken by medical officers and nurses for the recovery of the children.

When he dropped in a ward, the nurses were holding in their arms young children who were still unable to walk, with their eyes filled with tears of emotion. Looking at them he understood how hard it would have been for the girls to look after young children and highly appreciated their doings, saying that it was the noble traits which could only be displayed in our army as People's Army for military medical officers and nurses to take every possible care of orphans becoming nursery and kindergarten teachers. And he also told the officials concerned to send his thanks to all the medical officers and nurses in the hospital who showed great affection to the orphans instead of their parents.

His thanks to the military medical officers and nurses who were looking after the orphans in the hospital, neither on the battle field nor the training ground, was indeed a great compliment which only the respected Supreme Commander Comrade Kim Jong Un who cherished noble love for the rising generation and the future could present to them.

Holding the plump hand of an orphan who was doing cute things in his cradle and looking lovingly at another orphan who was waving her hands at him, he was very pleased to see all the orphans with plump rosy cheeks. And he said again that he really appreciated the pains taken by the medical officers and nurses in the hospital.

In fact, the treatment of orphans was a series of moments when the parental love of Comrade Kim Jong Un was going into their bodies as tonic and a series of days when the urgent actions were taken and affectionate orders were frequently issued.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un had taken urgent measures before they were admitted to the hospital and sent them various medicines and rare nutritious foodstuffs necessary for their health. And he made inquiries about the treatment of the orphans from time to time and took detailed measures one after another, even though he was very busy with his field guidance far away off. But still thinking that he had not done enough to give warm love for the orphans, he also gave one order after another to take good care of them.

In spite of his painstaking efforts for the orphans, he said that the good results made at the hospital were attributed to the warm love of the military medical officers and nurses for the people, adding that this is an infinite service spirit for the people and an infinite devotion to the future of the country of Korean People's Army.

The love of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un for the orphans across the country was not limited to this.

Afterwards, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited Pyongyang Orphanage again on the International Children's Day to wish their happy future and visited the construction site for new Pyongyang Orphanage and the Baby Home on two occasions, giving detailed guidance to it. And when it was completed, he visited again, very much satisfied with the fact that the wonderful conditions were provided for the orphans. And he had modern baby homes, orphanage, orphans' primary and secondary schools built in different parts of the country with the Pyongyang Baby Home and Orphanage as a model.

There was more than this.

He was so pleased to hear that they had caught a lot of fish to send to the orphans that he hurried along the long way to the fishing station and took benevolent measures to provide the orphans with more fish.

Indeed, our country is a real home of happiness to our children, where the noble loving care of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il who devoted their all to the rising generations, regarding them as precious treasures comparable with nothing and pillars to shoulder the future of the country, continues to pervade from generation to generation.

The socialist society of the DPRK forms a great socialist family, shining brilliantly as a source of single-minded unity as we are led by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who cherishes such warm love and heart and the future of DPRK is so bright as we are advancing under his leadership.
