In October, Juche 105(2016), the respected General Secretary visited the newly built Ryugyong Ophthalmic Complex in Munsu area.
The respected General Secretary could not help expressing his satisfaction to look over the view of the Ryugyong Ophthalmic Complex, saying that it was not so long that he pointed the hospital lot but already built wonderfully and he was very happy to imagine that people would be happy enjoying the benefits of the socialist public health system.
And he said satisfactorily that he had done what he really wanted to do for our people and his another wish for our people got realized.

The respected General Secretary who was inspecting the construction site, looking around every corner of the site where formworks and scaffolding were attached as it was under construction, was reported by an official that the construction speed was getting slower owing to the non-arrival of steel materials.
Then he took necessary steps to let them use the steel materials for the major state construction site nearby.
In fact, it would not take a long time to bring the steel materials but the respected General Secretary took an urgent measure, seriously worrying about the delay of the construction.
Thus, the Ryugyong Ophthalmic Complex was built as a modern building which contributes to the people's healthcare and improvement thanks to the careful and energetic leadership of the respected General Secretary and the material foundation of the public health sector was strengthened.
He said that it is not because our country is wealthy enough that our Party is continuously making great efforts to strengthen the substantial and technical foundation of the public health sector but it is because it is really important work to defend socialism and demonstrate the advantages of our country's socialist public health system, where the Party and state are responsible for both the life and health of people.
The respected General Secretary left the trail of the great leadership in the public health oxygen producing factory with a noble aim to consolidate the socialist public health service into the most popular and advanced one.
Although it was Sunday, the respected General Secretary visited the public health oxygen producing factory in May, 2016.
The official was feeling really awful to have the respected General Secretary at the construction site, a dusty spot, but he made a broad smile all over his face.
Arriving at the front of the picture of the bird's eye view over the factory with vigorous steps, the respected General Secretary got the firsthand information on the block planning and designing of the factory in detail and gave important teachings for the factory construction.
Looking around some parts of the factory, the respected General Secretary said that he could see the appearance of the factory and the workers dispatched by the Party had done a lot and we had to make the public health oxygen-producing factory one and only in the world.
That day an official in company with the respected General Secretary told him that our people were really happy with the news of building a new public health oxygen-producing factory.
Then, the respected General Secretary made a broad laugh like a person with no trouble and then, asked who else were happy with it.
The official said that the doctors also liked it and the respected General Secretary laughed again.
It was the laugh of the greatest man who finds his happiness in the happiness of people.
Like this, with the tireless efforts of the respected General Secretary, the Ryugyong Ophthalmic Complex Hospital and modern medical service institutions have become another epitome to show the developing aspects of Juche Korea and advantages of the socialist public health system and consolidate the substantial foundation of public health sector.
To further strengthen the substantial foundation of public health sector, the respected General Secretary took deep care of the work to produce enough medical facilities which would contribute to the improvement of people's health.
The respected General Secretary visited Myohyangsan Medical Appliances Factory on August 20, 2018, despite the boiling weather.
The respected General Secretary said that to make people get more benefits of modern and high-quality medical supply we had to significantly improve the substantial foundation of public health and take state measures and focus on the increase of production of multi-medicine and medical appliances by developing the pharmaceutical and medical appliance industry so that we could show the advantages of the socialist public health system of our own style.
He said seriously that we had to build Myohyangsan Medical Appliance Factory as a model factory which would play a leading role in the medical appliance industry to implement the desire of the great leader and signify the leading exploits of our great leader permanently.
The respected General Secretary said that the factory should be fully equipped with precision instruments for the production of medical appliances so that good-quality machine accessories which would contribute to the perfection of facilities could be generated.
And he gave them important teachings that the workers should compare their products with ones of the developed countries and analyze and testify to make them more perfect.

The respected General Secretary said all functionaries and staff should participate as one in the factory renovation and modernization work of the factory with the consciousness of being the masters and he will send Chollima of public health sector to this plant first and inspired them to take the lead in the public health sector and medical appliance plants, addressing appeal to functionaries and staff to write a new page of developing our medical appliance industry.
