The Consistent Core Of Revolutionary Idea Of The Workers’ Party Of Korea

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said:

"True to the ennobling intentions of the great President Kim Il Sung and General Kim Jong Il who implemented for the first time in history the politics of prioritizing, respecting and loving the people and devoted their all throughout their lives to the good of the people, our Party will, in the future, too, strive to add glory to the sacred history of the people-first principle."

In his historic report at the 8th Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un proudly reviewed the proud successes achieved by our Party and people during the period under review, and said that "Everything for the people and everything by relying on the people!"-this was the core of revolutionary idea firmly adhered to by the Party Central Committee without any slightest deviation or concession during the period under review.

These teachings reflect the firm will of the Worker's Party of Korea to hold our people in esteem as heaven and put them on the highest level of dignity, glory and happiness.

Thanks to the great mother Party's politics of prioritizing, respecting and loving the people, our people have never been pessimistic or backed even in the trials and difficulties that others would have fallen down ten hundred times, and they could make a vigorous advance towards the hopeful future, full of confidence in sure victory and optimism.

It is the steadfast will of the respected General Secretary to make the history of affection and devotion for the people of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il who lived with only the word "people" in their mind all their lives, go on steadily on this land.

The respected General Secretary, who keeps deep in his mind President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il's lofty idea of loving the people, saying that we should regard the people as heaven, and strive to pluck the stars from heaven and bring flowers into bloom even on the stones if they want, is now adding glory to the great history of the people-first principle.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un warmly said that it was our Party's outlook on the people to cherish reverently in our hearts our people that President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il regarded as heaven, as the images of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il, and to support them in high esteem as we venerate our leaders.

With this ardent and sincere heart, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un makes ceaseless journeys of affection for the people even at dawn, at midnight, in cold winter, or in hot summer without a day's rest for our people's well-being, and to save them from the disasters.

In those days when the world-wide pandemic spread within the boundary of the DPRK and the most serious state emergency occurred, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un convened several Party meetings to make sure that the state anti-epidemic work immediately switched over to the top-level emergency anti-epidemic system. And he put forth the anti-epidemic policies for checking and controlling the spread of new coronavirus in a stable way and went himself to pharmacies, where the virulent virus was rampant, to save our people's lives.

So the Korean people keenly felt every day and every hour that the anti-epidemic policies pursued by our Party were formulated and implemented to ensure our people's life and safety in every way.

By the days and months of devoted service to the people of the respected General Secretary who takes care of all the sons and daughters of this land in his bosom, new places of happy living for our people were built in the flood-stricken areas in only a few months, thus hurrah for the Workers' Party and hurrah for our socialist system resounding far and wide. And our people's louder voices that they are always under the warm care of our Party were heard here and there.

Indeed, the politics of devoting everything to serve the people faithfully, while regarding the people as sacred as heaven, the politics of trusting in the people and giving full play to their inexhaustible strength, the genuine politics of always fathoming the people's thoughts and sharing weal and woe with them, and together groping for a new road of victory and prosperity and leading the people-these are the political mode peculiar to the WPK, which no party and statesman can imitate.

On the high platform of the 8th Congress of the WPK, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un announced that our Party will remain invariably and boundlessly faithful to the people-first principle as ever in the past, and make every efforts to win new victories constantly in socialist construction.

The respected General Secretary's will to hold on to the slogan "Everything for the people and everything by relying on the people!" as the consistent core of our Party's revolutionary idea without any slightest deviation or concession is boundlessly stirring up the hearts of all people.

As we have the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un at the top post in high esteem, who regards our people as heaven of destiny and makes ceaseless journeys of devoted service to our people as their faithful servants, the WPK will shine all over the world forever as the organizer and guider of all victories of our people, and great mother party.
