Tasting the food in person

Whenever people talk about Kanggye city, they perhaps think about the hard traces against which the great General made his way when he visited there in order to make our country paradise in the "Arduous March".

However, devotional and labor traces of the great General have been left in Jagang Province till the last moment of his great life.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said as follows.

"Having resolved to be the master of the revolution in Korea from the first day of embarking on the road of revolution, General Kim Jong Il defended and added brilliance to his socialist country by giving his all throughout his life, and he continued to follow the road of love for his country and people until the last moment of his life."

On July 30th, Juche99(2010), the great leader Comrade Kim Jong Il visited one of the foodstuff factories in Kanggye city, Jagang Province.

After greetings, the great General said that he was going to visit the factory and was given a summary account of production processes, products, and production capacity in front of a scenery view of factory and a plane figure of buildings. Then the great General appreciated their work after he listened to explanation of processing facilities of wild fruit. At that moment, one of the officials said that people were pleasured because they could drink refresher under the solicitude of the great General. Then he was pleasured for a moment while he figured a happiness of people to himself. And he affirmed that people in Jagang Province liked because they could drink refresher produced by foodstuff factory under the wise policy of the Party. Indeed, our General received the reward of his labor from peoples' happiness.

After he inquired of sugar percentage of drink with parental affection, the great General visited the jam and fried glutinous rice cake production processes. He said that some children had not even tasted the jam and fried glutinous rice cake and not only children but also a full-grown man like them. After that he said that he was also pleasured because people in Jagang Province satisfied jam, sweet jelly and fried glutinous rice cake.

He always asked that people are favorable whenever he visited noodle production process, rice-cake production process and potato processing process.

When he arrived candy production process that can be seen in any foodstuff factory, he carefully saw the process and said that it was well-made, and appreciated that officials in Jagang Province were eager to do anything that our Party set. And he watched that process for a good while as if he was unwilling to leave, he asked if he could taste the candy in the excess of mirth.

Although all the officials hesitated to reply with unexpected request, one of the work team General replied that he could taste.

While all the functionaries looked up to him with the mind that how dare they let him taste such a food made in local factory, not a most delicious food in the world, the General appreciated that candy was tasty after tasting.

In Arduous March, he visited Jagang Province with the concept that we can live without candy, but hardly live without bullet even though our children could not eat the snack. Today, he was so satisfied that all the affliction caused in the Arduous March removed.

Indeed, the great General sacrificed everything for our children and our country's bright future.

All the officials and workers keenly sensed the General's love in their heart. Meanwhile, a corresponding functionary led him to the honey and tea production process, production sample room, and cake production process. The great General heard a report in detail on modernization situation of cake production process. Then he said that technicians and workers made a packer by themselves, if it was set up, this factory would be totally equipped with domestic production machines, and it was very good to produce with our equipment and raw materials in an excited tone

He tasted cake again and indicated that cakes were damp, those had to be crisp. After that, he appraised the quality of product and renamed it. Then he kept visiting bean curd production process and pickle production process, and he looked around the general view of factory for a while. He said to the functionaries that he was very pleasured and satisfied.

After the great General thought for a while as if he did not give things as much as he could even though he gave enough, gave us a chance to take a souvenir photograph with him and lit up the course ahead of factory. And he said that whenever he came to Kanggye city, he would visit this factory by all means. Then he left with the products to taste personally and sent the cash to pay for that products.

The great General showed such an unprecedented loving care for the officials and employees of the factory to give strength and courage to them.

We'll never forget the long-distance journey and self-devotion for people of the great leader Comrade Kim Jong Il, who had lived as a root of giant tree with his own desire to give people all happiness with motherly affection to give people from one to everything up to his final period of his life.
