What makes our fatherland stronger, which is leaping forward under the leadership of the great Party?
What's in the minds of soldiers who are defending the country in their military posts?
I want to tell one of many stories that answer these questions.
A woman soldier, who was brought to the North Phyongan Provincial Dental Hospital in November 2024, was severely injured by an unexpected injury during her military duties. She was at the crossroad of life and death due to massive blood loss and severe shock.
The first thing she had noticed after several days of unconsciousness was the appearance of doctors, nurses and commanding officers who had been trying to put her back to life.
Afterwards, the hospital medical team began to treat her face to recover the original state.
A large number of people, whose addresses and names were unknown, rushed forward, gave her strength and supported her both materially and morally. Meanwhile, the maxillofacial surgery team of the hospital completed the new treatment one by one, gathering their wisdom.
Finally, the woman recovered her original appearance.
Before she left hospital to go back to the post of national defense, she expressed her feelings.
"I was born again in this world. If it were not for the socialist system, I wouldn't be able to recover my face nor dream of going back to the military post, but I would have died. I will firmly defend this grateful socialist system with arms."
How has this grateful system been created?
The country where virtue has become a national custom to help people in difficulties as their own flesh and blood, sons and daughters!
The reality in which the state is responsible for the life of their people wherever they live, even in the corner of the country!
How could soldiers living in such a grateful country be afraid of death to defend their dear home villages and their grateful neighbors!
