President Kim Il Sung Is An Ever-Victorious, Iron-Willed Commander Who Won A Great Victory In The War Which Will Be Brilliantly Etched In History

On the occasion of the July 27, victory day, our service personnel and people are looking back with deep emotion on the proud course of victory which has resulted from adroit strategy and tactics and wisdom of president Kim Il Sung in reflection of the boundless feeling towards the over victorious commander who won a great victory in the Fatherland Liberation War which could be likened to a bare-handed man versus brigandish robbers.

President Kim Il Sung is an outstanding military strategist and ever-victorious iron-willed commander who led the young Korean People's Army to won the great victory-an unprecedented miracle in the world history of war.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said:

"In human history there has been recorded no such a military leader as Comrade Kim Il Sung, an unparalleled commander possessed of the power of both pen and sword who always stood on the front line with revolutionary arms in hand and achieved one victory after another in showdowns with the imperialist forces by dint of his brilliant military strategy and art of command."

At an emergency meeting of the Cabinet convened urgently on June 25, 1950 when our country faced the horrible ordeals of war, all the participants were all in huge bewilderment, but President said in a loud voice that the U.S. imperialists made a wrong estimation of Koreans. He stressed that we should demonstrate our true mettle in the war to teach them lesson.

That day the President, in his speech "Let us wipe out the invaders by a decisive counteroffensive", issued an order to switch over to the immediate counterattack against the enemy's war provocation.

The President, with full confidence in the ultimate victory from the first day of the war, clarified the way ahead of our country and people with his brilliant wisdom and will and delivered vigorous and sledgehammer blows at the aggressors by dint of the unique and Juche-oriented military tactics unknown to the world during the 3 years of the war.

The combat to liberate Taejon was a model of the modern siege warfare which showed the outstanding military strategy and tactics of the President and the wisdom and courage of the brilliant commander no one could be compared.

The Taejon siege operation commanded by President Kim Il Sung was a brilliant embodiment of the outstanding strategy and tactics that developed the Juche-oriented military idea and tactics, created during the anti-Japanese armed struggle in conformity with modern warfare, such as a correct selection of the strike direction based on the clear understanding of the prevailing military and political situation and of the balance of forces between friend and foe, a mobile dispersion and concentration of forces and a rapid turning movement.

The victory in the naval battle in Jumunjin was also a brilliant result of the outstanding strategy and tactics of the President.

Seeing through the intention of enemies who were so bewildered by the counterattack of the Korean People's army that they made desperate efforts by mobilizing the army, navy and air forces, the President called an official of the naval headquarter and issued an order to make the group of enemy's warships sink to the seabed.

To the official who was quite surprised at the huge differences between the forces, the President said that our sailors had more powerful political and ideological weapons than modern weapons and they were politically and ideologically prepared, so a good tactic could surely wipe out the group of enemy's warships. He continued to give detailed instructions on the issue of secretly moving the torpedo boat fleet to Sokcho port and the weakness of the enemy.

Our brave sailors, full of confidence in victory, left Sokcho port at the time indicated by President Kim Il Sung and won an unprecedented miraculous victory in the world history of naval war by sinking a heavy cruiser which had been called a "moving island" and a light cruiser with just four torpedo craft.

The brilliant military wisdom of the President who defeated the enemies that were numerically and technically superior with politico-ideological, strategic and tactical superiority lead to the bitter defeats for the enemies including the ignominious defeat at Osan, the failure of summer and autumn offensives and the failure of the "model battle" on the Jonghyong hill.

He issued orders of the Supreme Commander of the Korean People's Army including "On Organizing an Aircraft HuntingTeams", "On Further Strengthening the Tank Attack Group", "On Extensive Use of Mortars" and "On Organizing Teams of Snipers" and gave the US imperialist army of aggression a fatal setback with Juche-oriented and unique tactics unprecedented in the world history of war.

The leadership of the President, who visited the soldiers and people on the frontline, gave great affection to them and inspired them with confidence in victory, served as a source of the miracles.

The President took relevant measures to improve combatants' diet, asked to take warm care of them on the phone at midnight, took a step to run frontline rest centres for sick servicepersons and enforced the universal free medical service during the Fatherland Liberation War.

He took state measures to look after the war orphans and set an ennobling example of love for the younger generation as he took care of orphans who lost their parents during the war.

The President, with ardent love and trust in our people and soldiers, unfolded a grand blueprint for the future and encouraged them to have invincible strength and courage being confident of the ultimate victory of the war.

With his outstanding foresight and courage, he ordered to draw a blueprint for postwar reconstruction in the middle of the war, and called the soldiers fighting on the front back to the university to continue their studies.

And also he had the academy founded at a time when everyone was thinking only of the war and had factory colleges founded for the future of our country.

Thus, the great victory of the Fatherland Liberation War is the greatest feat which can be achieved only by President Kim Il Sung, an ever-victorious, iron-willed commander, who is possessed of outstanding leadership, far-sighted wisdom and noble virtues.
