The respected Comrade
"The US imperialists, who had been boasting of the myth of their ‘strength,' launched a series of desperate attacks by hurling in colossal amounts of military hardware and even the troops of their vassal countries, but they could never dishearten our service personnel and people who were filled with trust in and affection for what was theirs; the aggressive barbarians could not avoid staggering political and military, spiritual and moral defeats in the whole period of the war."
The Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum, which shows the history and tradition of victory of the DPRK, has an exhibition area for captured arms from the U.S. imperialists who suffered a disastrous defeat in the Korean War.
On display there are more than 60 kinds of military and technical equipment including bombers, tanks, and various kinds of guns and vehicles which turned into iron scraps by brave soldiers of the People's Army. These are the things that the U.S. brought into Korea during the war, being proud of military and technical superiority.
These exhibits, which were destroyed by the heroic struggle of the Korean People's Army, are still historical evidences to show how extremely delightful the young DPRK, with only two years after its foundation, broke the myth of the "strength" of the U.S. imperialists who had been boasting of the "strongest" power in the world.
Among them is the B-26 which the U.S. imperialists regarded as the so-called a "king" of the bombers.
It was shot down by the hit of anti-aircraft artillerymen of the Korean People's Army in 1952 in the sky of Pakchon area over which it had flied amok, bombing factories, enterprises and dwelling houses.
B-26 was known as the fastest bomber of the U.S. imperialist aggression forces during World War II.
But many B-26s were shot down in the sky of the DPRK, like falling leaves in autumn, by the brave pilots and combatants of the aircraft-hunting group who had armed themselves with the ever-victorious Juche-oriented war tactics created by President
This is a clear historical evidence that the military and technical superiority and weapon-everything idea, the favorite words of the U.S. imperialists could not be acceptable to our Korean people who firmly believed in the validity and victory of their causes during the Korean War.
