He said with satisfaction that the hot spring water is really hot and the eggs can be boiled in it.
When he had visited the construction site two months ago, he had inquired into the amount of the water gushing out and its temperature, asking if it was possible to boil eggs at 80 degrees Centigrade. And when he had heard that eggs can be soft-boiled within about 30 minutes, he said that this was really a hot spring.
That day, he personally measured the time of boiling eggs at an outlet, delaying his lunchtime, and gave detailed instructions on laying out an egg-boiling site and preparing vessels for boiling eggs.
When he visited the construction site again in April 2019, he was told that building an egg-boiling site at the entrance to an outdoor spa bath was reflected in the layout of the resort. He said with a broad smile on his face that eating eggs boiled in the hot spring would be spectacular scenery to be seen only here and that the people would like it.
He again visited the resort whose construction was nearing completion. He proposed setting up a cupboard at the egg-boiling site for placing condiments.
The great affection he bestowed on the people by spending his precious time at an outlet of the hot spring in the remote mountainous county, crossing high and low mountains and rugged roads, is now coming into full bloom with their happy laughter.
The egg-boiling site is the place crowded with the people every day since the resort has started its operation.
If scores of eggs in a vessel representing a mother hen, medium-sized hen or chick are floated, they are soft-boiled in 15 minutes and hard-boiled in 20 minutes.
Everyone vies with one another to eat both the soft-boiled and hard-boiled eggs.
As the egg has fully absorbed the medicinal ingredients including fluorine and sulfur contained in the hot spring water, it tastes soft and savory and good for digestion.
