Education is Conscience, Devotion and Patriotism

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said:

"In the present times, a sci-tech era, education for training talents is an undertaking decisive of prosperity of the country and the future of the nation."

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un raises education as an important issue deciding the destiny of the country and the future of the nation. And he is devoting his labor to the development of education of the country.

One day in August, Juche103(2014), the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, who sat together with senior officials of the Party Central Committee, said that the 13th National Conference of Educational Officials was to be held on the occasion of the 37th anniversary of the announcement of the "Theses on Socialist Education" by President Kim Il Sung, adding that he would like to speak about several issues for bringing about a fresh turn in education as regards the opening of the National Conference of Educational Officials in the crucial historic period of the Korean revolution.

He told the officials that education is the everlasting patriotic affair for the prosperity of the country and the nation, and that the might of the country and the future of the revolution depend on how the rising generations are educated, adding that education is conscience, devotion and patriotism.

"Education is conscience, devotion and patriotism."

His proposition is a precious guideline indicating that the successes in education, a noble patriotic affair for the prosperity of the country and the nation, depend mainly on the teachers who are directly responsible for it, and that it is patriotism for the country and the people to train the younger generation into pillars and talents who will shoulder the future of the country with pure conscience and ardent devotion.

All the officials were deeply impressed with precious teachings of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who was convinced that the national power can be consolidated and the victory of the revolution can be achieved only when we direct great efforts to education with a far-sighted attitude towards the future of the country.

That day, he stressed that we should raise education as an important state affair and push ahead with it vigorously as the issue of the whole Party, the whole country and all the people, adding that all officials including senior officials of the Party and state economic bodies in the capital and local areas should keep pace with him in carrying out the revolution in education in the new century with a correct viewpoint on education.

Bearing in mind his words to devote themselves to the future of the country and the bright future, the officials made a firm resolution to faithfully support his noble intention.

All educators will devote their all to the patriotic affair of training the rising generation into revolutionary and creative talents of Juche type, keeping the proposition of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, "Education is conscience, devotion and patriotism." in their minds.
