The Moving Story told by the New Clothes Worn by the Delegates to the Congress of the Korean Children's Union

On December 20th, 2022, Pyongyang citizens gathered at Pyongyang Station and its roadside to welcome the delegates arriving in Pyongyang to attend the 9th Congress of the KCU. They were surprised and envious to see the happy and vigorous delegates wearing new uniforms and padded clothes and new bags.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said:

"To our Party and country, you dear KCU members are treasures more valuable than billions of tons of gold, and represent our hope and our future."

The new uniforms, shoes and bags worn by the delegates of the KCU are associated with the ardent affection and love of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who regards the children as precious treasures incomparable with nothing, as the hope and future, and devotes his all for their bright future.

One day in July, a few months before the congress, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un acquainted himself with the preparations for the 9th Congress of the KCU. Reading the minds of the parents, who would be worried about the clothes for their children participating in the congress, he told the officials that uniforms, bags, shoes and socks should be made particularly well for the delegates, saying that "Fine feathers make fine birds." and the participants should be provided with the good uniforms.

Before the delegates arrived in Pyongyang, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un gave detailed instructions on making school uniforms fitting well, giving them leeway for sleeves, trousers and skirts so that they could be worn later when they grew up, taking into account the rapid growth of the children based on the correct measurements of the delegates.

One September day that year, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un called a senior official of the Central Committee of the WPK and said that the delegates should be provided with duck-fur padded clothes and winter shoes as the congress was held in winter, adding that the new uniforms had already been made for the delegates and that if they wore wonderful winter clothes, our children would look beautiful and smart.

So the delegates wearing new uniforms, new padded clothes, new shoes and new bags associated with the tender love and warm affection of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, arrived in Pyongyang and gave great pleasure to not only the citizens of the capital but also the people across the country.

Today all the Korean people are proud that no children are happier than our children in the world thanks to our Marshal who wants to provide our children with all the most valuable things in the world, saying that there is nothing to spare for the rising generations.
