He himself got on the amusement facilities, cable cars, light airplane and subway tramcar to confirm their safety before they were used by the people and continued his on-the-field guidance tour to every part of the country. And he has never hesitated to set out on a dangerous journey by air or sea.
His autographic reply to the letter from the citizens of Manpho epitomizes his great love for the people, touching everyone's heartstrings
The citizens and the construction workers in Manpho were working vigorously to realize the great General's great idea of love for the people, when suddenly they got the heartbreaking news of the demise of the great General and mourned over it in a great lamentation.

Thus, in a short span of time after groundbreaking a new socialist fairyland appeared on the bank of River Amnok and a large number of ordinary blue-collar and white-collar workers, honored disabled soldiers and ex-service men were provided with new excellent houses at the same time.
At the ceremony held before moving into the new houses provided by the warm care of the great leaders, the citizens of Manpho respectfully presented to the respected Comrade

In his reply permeated with his kindred affection for the people, he wrote that he was grateful to them for the letter, that he would accept their sincere mind but not the rice, that he would report to the great General about their sincerity, and that encouraged by their letter he would redouble his efforts to make the revolution.
His reply was full of love for and trust in the people, ennobling aspiration and parental wish to bring them all the happiness and glory. On reading the reply, all the people of the country shed tears of gratitude.
Such legends of his love for the people are innumerable, indeed.
