President
Chairman
"For many years, our people have regarded the respected Comrade
From olden times names have reflected the will of the parents and the history of the family and were deemed as one of the criteria that evaluated the personality and dignity of the owners.
When President
In autumn Juche 17(1928), the young communists, boundlessly loyal to the great leader, created the immortal revolutionary hymn "Star of Korea" and disseminated among the masses. It was the time when the demonstrations of young students in Jilin city fighting against the Japanese imperialists who sought to install Jilin-Heryong railway was at its height. The song composed by a revolutionary poet, Kim Hyok, grasped everybody's heart from the moment it came into the world.
The great leader who got hold of the fact, called Cha Kwang Su, one day and told him off, saying that it was not right to pay such a high tribute to someone so young and and he forbid them to sing the song. But like an unstoppable wave, the song quickly found its way through the masses.
The young communists such as Cha Kwang Su were in the van of these people. Cha Kwang Su said: "We have never disobeyed comrade Hanbyol because it was our decision to have comrade Hanbyol as the leader of revolution and the only center of unity. But we cannot accept his order not to sing the song "Star of Korea". Comrades! Just think of this. Why have the communists and patriots shed red blood all over the country only to be faced with one failure after another? It is because they did not have the wise leader who illuminated the right path of revolution and led them to victory by rallying the masses into a unified forces. Even if we wanted to unite we didn't have the center to be united around, and even if we wanted to advance, we didn't have the right path to advance along. But the dawn is breaking over the sky of the motherland which has been suffering in the dark.
Like the morning star shining brightly in the dark sky, we have the leader showing our path. He is none other than our comrade Kim Song Ju whom we all look up to and respect."
The words of Cha Kwang Su roused great applause from other comrades. The young communists decided to hold him as the eternal center of unity and call him Hanbyol(one star). They also adopted a decision of the organization to widely disseminate the song.
Our people have since long been totally attracted to our President for his love for the motherland, nation and people and highly praised him as the genuine leader of the nation.
President
The intrinsic nature of the sun lies in the shining light that brightens up the dark. A country or a nation also needs the same kind of light that shows the path ahead. And that light is the ideology that enlightens the nation. Already in his teens President
President
This is how our people dedicated the noblest name of the sun to our President already in the 1930s and revered him as the extraordinary leader of the nation.
In the past, several other leaders who led the country and nation had used pen names, but they had to do that for a certain period of time out of necessity of revolutionary struggle. There have been many revolutionaries and great men who had several names, but history knows not a revolutionary and the great leader like President
The cheers and excitement of our nation to have the great leader as the sun of Korea echoed throughout the period of anti-Japanese armed struggle. There are many legends and slogans and songs praising great men, but there are no people and nation like ours who held the leader in high esteem as the sun and expressed their hope, expectation and excitement in such vivid terms.
The expectations and wish of our people that the bright sun of the nation would save them from their misery did not go to waste and their aspirations were met by President
The "Hymn of General
Indeed, the name of the Sun "
Our people will deeply cherish the pride and honor of being the nation of the sun that has dedicated the name of the Sun to the great man born of heaven for the first time in history and will hold him in high esteem as the eternal sun of the nation.
