The immortal exploits of President Kim Il Sung who achieved the lasting basis for prosperity of the DPR Korea

Now in the DPR Korea founded by President Kim Il Sung, the Korean people have reached the peak of honor and glory which they could not enjoy through the history of their nation spanning thousands of years. Now the golden age is being opened up in all fields of the revolution in Korea, which had once lost its shining across the world for a long time. This is inconceivable apart from the immortal exploits of President Kim Il Sung who devoted his all life to prosperity of the fatherland and the ever-lasting happiness of the people.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said:

"Kim Il Sung was the most outstanding leader and an extraordinary veteran statesman who bequeathed imperishable exploits to his country and people and to the times and revolution by means of profound ideas and theories, uncommon leadership ability and gigantic revolutionary practice."

The destiny of each country or nation depends on the guiding idea and line which is the main layout of building a state as the people's destiny is carved out with a country or nation as a unit. Especially, for a nation liberated from the colonial bondage, it is a matter of life and death. It is because although they have accomplished national independence, mistakes and errors in the guiding idea and lines may lead them to turns and twists in the course of development and make them reduced to a plaything of great powers.

As for the Korean people, the correct and scientific guiding idea and lines of state construction which has importance of life or death in carving out the destiny of the people as the main layout of the state construction were put forth just by President Kim Il Sung, the first extraordinary outstanding sacred man for the first time in its 5 000-year-long history. So the Korean people could have the steadfast guarantee by which to enjoy the independent honor and life.

He achieved the greatest exploits by founding a genuine country of the people which was unprecedented in the history of Korea and developing it into a socialist state of independence, self-support, and self-reliance as well as liberating Korea from the Japanese imperialist colonial rule.

First of all, President Kim Il Sung provided the Korean people with a motive force which makes the Democratic People's Republic of Korea a powerful country of independence that can uphold its honor forever.

Independence is life and bloodline of nations. A country with government but without independence is not actually an independent one.

Independence of a country is maintained and exalted by the people's spirit of independence.

He did his best to arm the people with the awareness that the popular masses are the master of liberated Korea and to eliminate flunkeyism and dogmatism which had remained lingering in the people's mental area for a long time, thus establishing the national independent spirit across the country.

Thanks to the wise leadership of the President, the Korean people could construct a powerful country in their own style with the spirit of independence and can carve out their destiny by themselves.

The sacred struggle of the Korean people to exalt the honor and dignity of the country was the course of serious political struggle against imperialism, dominationism, flunkeyism and dogmatism, revisionism and also an untrodden path that was impossible to follow with the existing formulas and methods. But they could advance along the road of victory and prosperity thanks to the resolute decision and wise leadership of the President who propelled forward the building of a prosperous country upholding the banner of self-reliance in such a harsh situation where the high-handedness and arbitrariness of the imperialists and dominationists were prevailing.

The political independence of a country is guaranteed firmly only when it has its strong force.

He achieved the unity of the revolutionary rank and founded the genuine political organizations such as the Party and the people's state power, the self-defense industry and the self-supporting national economy with firm faith in independence. This was a solid foundation, on which the DPRK could protect its sovereignty and the right to existence of the country by defeating the hostile forces' counter-revolutionary ideological onslaught by its revolutionary one, overcoming their heinous sanction and blockade by the might of its strong self-supporting national economy and destroying their frenzied movement of provoking a war by its invincible defense power.

Today, too, the Korean people, who learned the law of revolution and made the faith and confidence in independence part of their mental qualities, are working miracles unprecedented in history in keeping with the principle of Juche in ideology, independence in politics, self-sufficiency in the economy and self-reliance in the national defense.

As mentioned above, President Kim Il Sung held the banner of independence for the first time in history and embodied it to the revolutionary practice to carve out a way of victory, which is a motive power to encourage the Korean people's struggle for building a prosperous country.

Secondly, President Kim Il Sung provided a solidly-built foundation on which the DPRK can shine forever as a genuine people's country and a socialist state centered on the masses.

There is not such a state that ensures the working people's honor and position on the highest level as the DPRK does across the world.

President Kim Il Sung embodied the idea of "believing in the people as in heaven" and successfully built the people-centered socialist country where the people's happy life are in full bloom just on the country which had once been deprived of its name and forced to undergo the sufferings and ordeals due to the century-old backwardness and poverty. He put the socialism of Korean style on a scientific basis by formulating the idea of believing in the people as in heaven as the fundamental principle of the state construction and the starting point of state activity and applying it to the whole course of accomplishing the socialist cause.

Today, in DPRK, what is for people and what people like is the most righteous and is given the absolute priority. Everything is serving the people including politics, military, economy, culture and morality.

President Kim Il Sung attached the foremost importance to the realization of the people's demands and interest. Under his intention and leadership, the most superior popular policies including universal free compulsory education and universal free medical care were already enforced one after another at the state expense during the grim Fatherland Liberation War when the Korean people were fighting a life-and-death battle against the aggressors.

In our country it is systematized that the party and state take charge and care of people's lives. Just thanks to his wise leadership, miraculous victories and successes could be achieved even when the nuclear threat and sanction and blockade of the hostile forces were maximized and the situation got worse. Therefore, our whole Korean people absolutely trust and follow the great Workers' Party of Korea which is trying devotedly to provide them with a civilized life. And they also devote themselves to the socialist construction.

Thirdly, President Kim Il Sung provided the valuable wealth with which the whole Korean people can hasten the complete victory of the socialist cause by dint of strong offensive.

The cause of socialist construction is accompanied by a great number of obstacles and difficulties and the closer its victory is at hand, the more wicked the enemy's desperate last-ditch struggle will become. If we yield to the difficulties or stand back even a single step on our road, it will take us 10 steps and 100 steps back later and ultimately to the collapse and failure.

President Kim Il Sung was not only a great thinker and theoretician, a great politician, an iron willed brilliant commander, but also a great man with matchless courage and grit. It was his mode of making revolution to make headway without the slightest hesitation or vacillation against them even if the enemies were making desperate attempts and the situation was getting more and more severe. He turned the adversity into prosperity, the misfortune into blessing and carried out the huge historical tasks brilliantly with a firm faith in victory and strong assurance that relying on the people can lead to the victory without fail, and the matchless courage that even if the sky were to fall, there would always be a way out.

Thanks to the offensive-oriented revolutionary idea, strategy and tactics of President Kim Il Sung, the US-led imperialist allied forces suffered a disastrous defeat in the Fatherland Liberation War (1950-1953) that can be called a confrontation between atomic bomb and rifle, and their later vicious challenge and aggressive move vanished like a bubble. Also, the historic cause of socialist industrialization was carried out in a short period of 14 years on the debris of war and the socialist construction was in its heydays in 1970s and 1980s.

In the long-term human history, there has been no great leader who, like President Kim ll Sung, experienced all manner of troubles and hardships as a revolutionary and as a human being but built a state and laid the eternal foundations of national prosperity in his life time with the offensive-oriented fighting spirit of advancing without the slightest vacillation.

When the Korean people is faced with severe trials, they look back upon the sacred revolutionary career and state-building exploits of President Kim Il Sung from which they get courage and guts, will and wisdom of turning misfortune to good account. With his history of leading the construction of the prosperous and powerful country as a great textbook and an encyclopedia of revolution, the Korean people could become the honorable victors in the Arduous March and Forced March in which others must have knelt down over a hundred times, and win successive victories in the struggle to defend socialism and today they are making continued innovations and advance onwards for the victory of socialist cause.

Today, the DPRK which is adorned by the ideology and achievements of the great leaders is advancing vigorously under the wise leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

It is certain that the cause of building of socialism of Juche to develop the great Korea into the greatest power and the paradise which the people all over the world look up to will win a victory under the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

Upholding the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who is leading the construction of a prosperous state in entirely the same way as the great leaders did without any deviation or concession, the Korean people who are struggling to lead a new life with full confidence and optimism will win a greater victory and prosperity.
