Immortal traces associated with the general review room of the Korean Revolution Museum

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said:

"The Korean Revolution Museum is largest of its kind in the world in terms of scale and exhibits."

There are many museums in the world that convey the history of the struggle of their country and nation. However, there is no such a revolutionary museum as the Korean Revolution Museum that comprehensively and profoundly shows the revolutionary history and immortal exploits of the leader while ensuring the greatest respect, scientific accuracy and intuition.

The Korean Revolution Museum has been rebuilt into the world's best revolutionary museum in terms of the content, form and scale. It is a treasure house of the country which embodies the great revolutionary history and immortal revolutionary exploits of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and a grand temple for education in the revolutionary traditions. The museum is a precious fruition of the wise leadership of the respected General Secretary who is determined to defend, inherit and develop the glorious revolutionary traditions of the Workers' Party of Korea.

The general review room of the museum is also closely associated with the wise leadership of the respected General Secretary.

On March 27, 2017, the respected General Secretary visited the Korean Revolution Museum before its opening and acquainted himself with its reconstruction. He expressed great satisfaction over the fact that the Korean Revolution Museum, the ideological and spiritual pillar and beacon of the Korean people and service personnel, has been turned into the best revolutionary museum and a grand temple for education in the revolutionary traditions, and gave valuable instructions for its work.

Saying that the duty of the Korean Revolution Museum is very important, the respected General Secretary gave important instructions on putting up the colored statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il together in the general review room and guidelines on the management and operation of the general review room.

The respected General Secretary said that the room for the period of the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle had a colored statue of President Kim Il Sung, the room for the period of the Arduous March and forced march had a colored statue of Chairman Kim Jong Il, then the general review room should have colored statues of the great leaders together.

In the general review room, looking up to the pictures depicting the great leaders with reverence for them, the respected General Secretary thought deeply for a while and said that it would be of significance if Lake Chon of Mt. Paektu were depicted in a semi-panorama style on the wall, the pumice stones on the front floor and the colored statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il were erected.

He also gave valuable instructions on the issues arising in improving the management and operation of the general review room.

The respected General Secretary said that it would be better to lay dignified carpet-patterned flooring instead of laying carpet in view of the large number of visitors every day.

He also grasped the unreasonableness of the visiting route and saw to it that it should be corrected.

The visitors were supposed to go back to the entrance after they paid homage to President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il in the general review room to visit other rooms.

The respected General Secretary proposed detailed solutions saying that it would be good if the visitors left the general review room sideways to visit other rooms after they paid homage to the great leaders, since the original route would lead to a congestion when visitors came in and went out of the room and throngs of people outside the general review room.

Under the wise leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, the colored statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il were erected in high esteem in the general review room of the Korean Revolution Museum and a radical improvement was brought about in the management and operation of the museum.

Thanks to the energetic guidance of the respected General Secretary who is devoting his heart and soul to building the Korean Revolution Museum into the revolutionary museum of the great leaders, the museum has become more perfect befitting to the revolutionary museum of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il both nominally and virtually.
