Noting that while passing by the unit he abruptly dropped in at the unit in order to learn about the flight drill of a pursuit assault plane group, Supreme Leader
He issued an order for pilots of the pursuit assault planes on duty for combat to take off and perform difficult and complicated air combat actions.
Seeing the practiced aviation of the pilots making all the skilled and experienced flights including takeoff, air combat actions and landing, he expressed great satisfaction over the excellent readiness to carry out any combat task irrespective of conditions and environment.
He said he feels ease to see the pilots creditably carrying out anti-aircraft task to defend the capital city. Highly praising the unit as a noteworthy unit which is perfectly and correctly carrying out the Party's policy of training revolution and military and political task, he asked for conveying his regards to all the pilots and ground crew for the jets of the unit and their families.
He said that all the pilots should firmly prepare themselves to be indomitable pilots who creditably carry out combat tasks, bearing in mind expectations of the country and people.
He was accompanied by Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, first vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly, Kim Phyong Hae, O Su Yong, Jo Yong Won and other leading officials of the C.C., WPK. -0-
