Graduation Badge

The first graduation badge of Kim Il Sung University was enacted by President Kim Il Sung on September 25, Juche 45 (1956) on the occasion of the 10th founding anniversary of the university and it was the first one among the universities in our country.

The new graduation badge of Kim Il Sung University was enacted by Chairman Kim Jong Il and it has been awarded to graduates from March 30, 2005.

On the upper part of the graduation badge is the cap-badge of the university and on the lower part is the letters "Kim Il Sung University". The background made of copper is red in color and the frame, the cap-badge and the letter part are gilded with gold. A button is in the center of the back and the letters "Graduation Commemoration" are embossed on the lower part.
